Sweet sisters

What a great weekend for photo sessions. So far I have gotten to photograph some fantastic siblings. Two girls and two boys (to be blogged soon) and a senior session tonight. I am so thankful for this streak of great weather.

So, I had some grand ideas for the apples in this basket but Miss C felt more inclined to eat them instead. Same with her baby sister, even if she only has a few teeth.  Lots of fun moments at the session right from the beginning .

Aren’t these two just the sweetest?   I am hoping noone got a belly ache from eating apples for dinner! :)

Gage- 8 days of pure love

I had such a great time at this newborn session. Between lil Gage’s pure baby sweetness and his Grandmother’s helping hand, I could have packed them both up and taken them home with me.

His beautiful Mamma is head over heals in love with him.  So is his dotting grandmother who came from out west (featured in far right photo below) .  I have serious doubts if she will be able to leave them when the time comes.  I must admit I did have an extra cuddle or two while moving him around. There is nothing like snuggling a new baby. Sigh…

Here’s just a tiny sneak peak. :)

The Amazing Abby

The Amazing Abby.

I don’t know how she does it, but year after year Abby continues to stun me with her maturity, dedication and of course her beauty, inside and out. We met to update a few shots for her portfolio and came aways with tons more than she will ever need.

A huge thanks to two local families who allowed us to use their properties for our shoots. These new locations made me feel like a kid in a candy store-so many unique areas to use for photos.   Thank you!

tickle…. tickle

Have you ever met a newborn with ticklish toes? This was a first for me over the weekend. Honestly, I giggle inside when I think of how lil E would pull his feet back while in a deep sleep every time I touched them.  But it must run in the family because the “threat” of being tickled brought about big smiles from big brother B.

At ten days old, lil E was really a dream to photograph. Sleeping through two outdoor locations then moving inside without a fuss. What a great baby. Let’s hope he sleeps through the nights like this for his mommy and daddy.

Here’s a little sneak peak for now.

And talk about lucky, we found this old barn just down the road from their house. I would have loved to spend more time photographing there

10 days new

After a long (and fun) vacation in North Carolina it was nice to come home and jump back into work with this newborn session. Miss Emerson is about the daintiest newborn I have ever met.  So sweet with beautiful eyes that didn’t want to close for a wink during our session.  And oh, she has just about the proudest big brother around. I forsee lots of great memories ahead for this family.

Here’s a little sneak peak for now.
